Our Story
The Beginning
Mr. Loh Tuck Sum began his career as an automotive mechanic and eventually established a small workshop for vehicle repairs. This led to the founding of Syarikat Weng Hin Auto Supplies, specializing in the sale of authorized Toyota Genuine Parts. Weng Hin Auto Supplies became Malaysia’s first authorized Toyota Genuine Parts dealer, recognized by Borneo Motors, the official distributor of Toyota in Malaysia. The company’s first location was at Wisma Wing Hin, Jalan Loke Yew, Kuala Lumpur.
Record Achievement
In 1980, Mr. Loh achieved record sales for Toyota Genuine Parts and Accessories, establishing himself as the largest dealer for Borneo Motors in Malaysia. In recognition of his exceptional performance as an automotive parts and accessories dealer, Mr. Loh Tuck Sum was awarded a 15-day, all-expenses-paid tour to Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. During his visit to Japan, he spent a week in Nagoya touring the Toyota factory, Parts Centre, and assembly warehouse.
TRD Partnership
Wing Hin Motorsports was established on March 12, 1996, and officially launched to meet the growing demand for parts and accessories while expanding market share. The company positioned itself as a one-stop centre for Toyota customers and became the official TRD distributor for Malaysia.
Expansion to 3S Dealership
Wing Hin Automobile Sdn Bhd was established in January 2004 as an authorized Toyota 3S dealership (Sales, Service, Parts) in collaboration with UMW Toyota. The 31,000 sq. ft. facility in Balakong featured a showroom, 15 service bays, and an after-sales Body & Paint center. Dato’ Michael Lim awarded the Toyota dealership to Wing Hin Automobile Sdn Bhd.
Mega Service Center
As the demand for after-sales services increased, Wing Hin Automobile Sdn Bhd’s 15 service bays were unable to cope with the high service demands. Hence, Wing Hin management decided to invest in a Mega Toyota After-Sales facility.
Body & Paint Certification
Wing Hin Automobile was appointed as an authorized Body & Paint centre by UMW Toyota.
Mega After-Sales Facility
In September 2009, Wing Hin Automobile Sdn Bhd officially moved into the upgraded After-Sales facility with a capacity of 49 general service bays, 71 Body & Paint repair bays, and 240 parking spaces. On January 29, 2010, the company officially marked the grand opening at Lot 963, Balakong, Selangor. Formation of the Wing Hin Motorsports Racing Team in Y2009.
Wing Hin Motor & Capital
Wing Hin Motor Sdn Bhd was incorporated as part of the Wing Hin Group’s Toyota dealership expansion plan. The company operates a 2S (Service & Spare Parts) center in Shamelin, Cheras. Expansion into insurance services with the formation of Wing Hin Capital Sdn Bhd on June 2, 2011, to cater to Wing Hin Group’s insurance services. However, the business only commenced operations in 2016.
Lexus Dealership
Wing Hin Auto Carriage Sdn Bhd was appointed as an authorized Lexus 3S dealership and officially opened a new 3S center in Sungai Besi on February 1, 2013. The RM5.5 million facility includes a showroom, 10 general service bays, and a guest lounge.
Service Relocation
Relocation of Wing Hin Motor Sdn Bhd’s 2S center from Shamelin to Pandan Indah. The new and larger 2S center is equipped with 20 service bays to better serve customers.
Operational Standard
Wing Hin Business Services Sdn Bhd was established to centralize accounting functions across the group, streamlining and standardizing accounting and operational processes.
Modellista Appointment
Wing Hin Motorsports was appointed as the official Modellista distributor.
Strategic Acquisition
On January 1, 2020, Wing Hin Group acquired Motozoom Sdn Bhd, an authorized 3S dealership in Wangsa Maju, expanding its Toyota dealership network.
Electric Vehicle Market Entry
Wing Hin entered the electric vehicle market with a BYD dealership, Wing Hin Ventures Sdn Bhd at Akasa, Balakong, Selangor.
Puchong Expansion
Opened the BYD Puchong outlet and Topmark in Balakong, Wing Hin Auto Selection Sdn Bhd was incorporated to serve the Malaysian Recon market.
Future Ventures
Opened the BYD Balakong 3S center; scheduled opening of Denza center in Balakong and a new Toyota 3S center.
Coming Soon
Wing Hin Elegant Sdn Bhd, an authorized dealer for Denza, will open a 3S center in Balakong, Selangor by February 2025. Wing Hin Mobility Sdn Bhd will open a Toyota 3S dealership at IOI, Putrajaya, expanding the dealership network
